Oatmeal soothes and heals, and relieves dryness and inflammation. This soap contains both colloidial (very finely ground) oatmeal and chunkier pieces.

Goat's milk soap has a long history as a natural emollient that soothes and moisturises. It has been used to sooth Psoriasis, Eczema, Dermatitis and Acne. Goat's milk contains proteins, amino acids, minerals, alpha hydroxy acids and vitamins A & B which nourish the skin. It is high in selenium which is a good antioxidant for the skin. Shampoo Bars & Hair Oil

Shampoo, as we know it today, has only been around since the 1930s. Before this time, hair was washed with ordinary body soap or a liquid made from soap. The word 'shampoo' comes from a Hindi word 'chāmpo' - which is a traditional head massage using oils. Throughout history, herbs and fragrances have also been used to treat hair.

Modern shampoos are actually detergents - very similar to your dish washing liquid!

Outrageous! Shampoo Bars are a natural soap specially formulated to clean hair while nourishing it with beneficial oils. Designed to condition hair and leave it soft and bouncy, without leaving any soapy or oily buildup. Enriched with coconut milk and shea butter.

If you have normal to oily hair, you can ditch the conditioner too! Dry hair may find that a little oil after the shampoo helps.


Nude: no added extras! Great for kids, men, or sensitive scalps.

Neem: The no-nits bar! Essential oils of Neem and Lavender repel head lice. (Disclaimer: Not a complete treatment for head lice - please treat with your usual method if infestation is present)

Apple: Smells just like old fashioned Apple shampoo!

Rosemary: Rosemary essential oil is fantastic for hair! Smells good too :)

Hair oil
Hair oils are making a comeback. Outrageous hair oil is a blend of 5 oils your hair will love! Use it as a hot oil treatment, as a 'conditioner' after washing, or as an everyday styling aid.

Hot oil treatment: place bottle in a cup of moderately hot water (you actually want warm oil, not hot) for a few minutes. Pour a generous amount into your hand and work into damp hair, massaging into scalp. Leave on for 20mins to overnight, then wash out well using the shampoo bar. If you wish you can wrap your head in a plastic bag and/or hot damp towels.

After wash condition: pour a small amount onto palm and rub hands together, work through damp hair concentrating on dry ends. A little goes a long way!

Styling aid: for a 'wet look' rub a small amount into damp or dry hair. To add body, use fingertips to rub a small amount into scalp and hair closest to scalp.

15mls 'trial size' in an amber glass bottle.

Shaving Soaps

Celebrate the man in your life with a little everyday luxury for him. Shaving soap is applied with a shaving brush and gives a smooth, creamy, lasting lather. White French clay helps the razor glide smoothly and skin loving oils and butters soften whiskers and feed the skin.

Made using a traditional hot process method, which preserves the natural glycerin, these shaving soaps contain Cocoa butter, Avocado oil, Aloe Vera, & Goatsmilk.


Presented in a stylish upcycled teacup *ahem* I mean a very manly shaving mug. The soap weighs at least 100g.

Apple of my eye

I wish I could invent scratch & sniff internet just so you could smell this soap! I know what you're thinking - oh yeah, apple, boooring. Thats what I thought too - until I smelled this soap! The scent is somewhere between real juicy green apples and the old apple shampoo from my childhood. It is not too sharp, not too sweet, and very refreshing.

Carrot Facial

Unfragranced, uncoloured soap with carrot juice, clay and jojoba beads.
Carrot juice is wonderful for the skin! Its contains beta carotene, vitamins C, D, E, B, minerals including calcium, copper, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, sodium, zinc, and iron. It has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It is said to sooth, tone, moisturise, help rebuild damaged skin, even skin tone, and help avoid wrinkles. Whew! What a super vege!
White Argiletz clay absorbs excess oil, dirt, and toxins from the skin whilst gently exfoliating and stimulating circulation. This clay will gently draw impurities from the skin without removing natural oils. It also gives the soap a silky, creamy lather.

This is a 'scrubby' soap - the Jojoba beads are tiny and smooth, so they exfoliate without damaging. Once or twice a week you should rub the bar directly on your face for this benefit. In between times, simply lather the bar in your hands and rub the lather on your face.
This soap is also lovely on the body of course!
This recipe was formulated for my teenaged daughter who has problem skin with blackheads. Im happy to say that after a month of use, her skin is brighter, less red and 'angry' looking, and her blackheads have reduced by about half and they are dramatically smaller and softer.

Hubba Bubba Scrubba

In the 80's, you could buy Blueberry Hubba Bubba (bubblegum) - blue bubbles were awesome! This soap is very scrubby - good for hands, feet, rough & dry skin, and positively delicious on backs - but too rough for delicate skin or faces.
Packed with Jojoba beads for a thorough scrub that wont scratch or damage your skin, combined with a sweet blueberry scent. Exfoliating & stimulating.

About Outrageous! Soaps

100% hand crafted soaps, made the old fashioned way, which preserves the natural glycerin. These soaps contain only natural ingredients (with the exception of some colours and fragrance oils). No detergents, SLS, or other nasty chemicals. Your skin will be left soft and moisturised - not tight and dry. 
 
I formulate my own recipes and test them on myself (I have sensitive skin!), my family and friends.
The soaps are made in small batches using either Cold Process or Hot Process methods and cured to ensure mildness and longevity. 
 
Allergy Information: While every effort is made to select the most gentle oils and additives, some people may have sensitivities or allergies to these ingredients. Please review the ingredients list or contact me for further information. Particular care should be given to nut based ingredients. Some essential oils should not be used on babies or during pregnancy, and some may increase photosensitivity.
